Pastor Keith
Up-Date
Church family, today we share some heartbreaking news with you. Our senior pastor, Pastor Keith, has been diagnosed with terminal cancer.
There are no easy words for news like this. Keith is not just our pastor; he is someone we love, someone who has faithfully shepherded this church, and someone who has made a lasting difference in our lives. Our hearts especially go out to Pastor Keith, his wife, Crystal, and their daughters, Megan and Kelsey and son, Matthew and family as they face this difficult journey.
I want us to remember something important: Keith is still our pastor. This diagnosis does not change who he is to us or the love and respect we have for him. He is our pastor, and we are his church family.
We may experience sadness, fear, and questions we cannot answer. We don't have to hide those feelings or pretend this isn't painful. But even in our sorrow, we can hold on to the truth that God is with us. Psalm 46:1 reminds us, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”
We don't know what the days ahead will bring, but we can choose to walk through them together. Let us surround Keith, Crystal, Megan, Kelsey and Matthew and family with prayer, encouragement, compassion, and practical support.
Church family, our hope is in Jesus Christ. We trust Him not because we understand everything He allows, but because we know His character and His faithfulness. Let us continue to worship, serve, love, and encourage one another as we keep our eyes on Him.
Please keep Keith, Crystal, Megan, Kelsey and Matthew and family close in your prayers. May they feel the peace of God, the strength of His presence, and the unwavering love of their church family.
Pastor Keith, we love you. We stand with you, we are praying for you, and we are grateful that you are our pastor.
